Separated and Divorced Catholics Group
Newly separated? In the middle of divorce proceedings? Just stuck moving on? Join other Catholics making this journey, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Spiritual Center at the Parish Offices (600 Columbia Drive.) We’ll pray, talk, and work out a plan for ongoing support. For questions or to arrange for childcare, please call Joanne at 347-0701, ext. 15.

Grief Support Group
Grief Ministry will be held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Spiritual Center in the Parish Office Building (600 Columbia Drive.) This will be a safe place to share your grieving because you will be surrounded by people who share your issues. For more information, please contact Carol Schick at 342-7156.

Sandwich Sunday
The first Sunday of the month is Sandwich Sunday. We invite you all to meet in the Parish Center after the 9:30 a.m. Mass and join with others in making sandwiches for the needy.

Bingo, Bingo, Bingo
Please join us every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month for fun and games. Bring your lunch—12:00-2:30 p.m.

First Friday Eucharist Adoration
All are invited to contemplate, to adore and to pray to Jesus Christ before the Blessed Sacrament on the First Friday of each month, in the chapel. Hours of exposition are from 8:30 a.m. Friday to 8:00 a.m. Saturday, followed by Mass.

An Evening of Sung Prayer
Wednesday, March 5th at 7:30 p.m., join the musicians of Saint Bartholomew in the Church for an evening of Sung Prayer emphasizing the Lenten themes of Reconciliation, Forgiveness and Compassion. This evening will be preceded by a simple Soup Supper, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center.

Doers 'n' Goers
Our friendly group of senior singles will meet in the Parish Center on Monday, March 10th at 1:00 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome. After a short business meeting, St. Bart’s own Joe Marchi will entertain us with a musical theme on St. Patrick’s Day. Lets all remember to wear a touch of “the green.”
Our “Go” for March is a trip up to the Sonoma Wine Country on Thursday, March 27th. The bus leaves St. Bart’s at 10:00 a.m. We shall have a tour of Kleine’s Winery. Cost of bus and tour is $40. Lunch will be on your own. If you have not signed up, do treat yourself to a fun filled day. This will be a popular trip, so check with Marge at 341-3273 and get your check in early. See you there!

Lenten Food Drive
The Women’s Guild is sponsoring a food drive from February 23rd to March 16th. Bring non-perishable food items and place them in the vestibule. St. Vincent de Paul Society will distribute them to families in San Mateo going through difficult times. Please call the parish office at 347-0701 with any questions. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

St. Bart’s 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Party
Tis time once again for a wee bit o’blarney, corned beef and cabbage and a high step or two. Join us Saturday, March 15th for a little libation starting at 6:30 p.m. Irish Dancers at 8:00 p.m. followed by Shades o’Green for your listening and dancing pleasure. Cost $65 per person. Make checks payable to St. Bartholomew’s Women’s Guild and send to Terri DiNardo, 1545 Lakeview Drive, Hillsborough, CA 94010. Please say who you would like to be seated with. Ye all are welcomed and bring a friend.

St. Bart’s Book Group
Please join us for a cup of coffee and a relaxed, friendly discussion of a variety of books—from fiction to biography—once a month in the Spiritual Center. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 13, from 10:30 a.m. to noon to chat about Embracing Our Blessings: Faces of the Beatitudes (by Kathleen Chesto), a perfect read for the Lenten season (available in the Parish Offices.) Local Organizing Committe for Social Justice
Are you concerned about the lack of affordable housing in our area? Want to make your voice heard? St. Bart's LOC (Local Organizing Committee) for Social Justice invites you to be part of a simple letter-writing campaign. We’ll provide the info if you can write a letter or two urging our local officials to offer more low-income housing. For more information, please call 347-0701, ext. 17.

Late Nite Catechism
The St. Bartholomew’s Men’s Club is proud to sponsor the return of Late Nite Catechism. Five years ago, one of the very special nights here at St. Bart’s was celebrated at Serra High School. Now we present the sequel, “Late Nite Catechism 2.” Yes, sister is back telling us “sometimes we feel guilty because we are guilty.” It will be held Saturday, April 12th at Serra High School. We are offering generous hord’eouvres and all varieties of beverages and deserts all for one price which includes the ticket to the show. This is a professional show out of New York and we will be the Bay Area Premiere. You can reserve your tickets by calling the office or after mass from a member of the committee. Don’t miss this and invite any old grammar school classmates to join you. This will be a great evening!

Craft Night
Join us Monday, February 18th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Media Center. Drop-in anytime, craft night is open to everyone. Meets on the 3rd Monday of each month to give you space and time to work on your favorite craft projects. Share your expertise or learn something new - bring your own materials to work with. Rosary Makers
Join other Rosary Makers at the Parish Office (600 Columbia Drive) on Monday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. (On the third Monday of the month, we join the Craft Group for our Rosary making time.) For more information, call Barry Lockwood at 341-6994.

Welcoming Catholics Home
If you are a Catholic who has been away from the Church, this invitation is for YOU! No matter how long you have been away and for whatever reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with the Catholic Church.
