The Giving Tree
Sign-Up to Help with the Giving Tree

Imagine a child with no gift for Christmas. Don’t let that happen! Middle School Faith Formation is sponsoring The Giving Tree this year to benefit families residing at Shelter Network of San Mateo. Just select an ornament from the tree showing the name and gift wish of a resident who is transitioning from homelessness. The Giving Tree will be in the vestibule December 5th through 20th. Gifts will be sorted and delivered December 20th.

Watch the bulletin for information about upcoming gatherings. To be placed on a mailing list for these outings, contact Crystal at 347-0701, ext. 11 or crystal@barts.org.

Mission Trip Reflections

"I had a great time painting a whole house for those less fortunate than me. I knew that they couldn't afford a painter and at the end of the week, when the house was finished, I knew I had helped someone with all my love and respect."

"I learned that being successful is not judged by how much money you make."

"It made me proud to know that I gave until it hurt, and that the giving helped
others."

"Even though we were in another country, I was amazed at how easy it was to
communicate without speaking."

Download a Medical Release Waiver Form if you need them for activities. These files are in PDF format; you will need Adobe Acrobat to view them.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact our Youth Minister, Crystal Frost at 347-0701, ext.11 or crystal@barts.org.
